Mere sawalon ka jawab nazron se bas mile
Mere ashkon ki nami ka kharidar nahi mile

Mere janaze ke paas tere khanjar bhi mile
Par kabhi tum jaisa pari wafadar na mila

Shaam-e-gham aana pe mili khwab-o-gham tere
Par afsos yahi raha phir bhi tum nahi mile

But no one valued the sorrow in my tears

Yet I never found anyone as loyal and enchanting as a fairy
