Bhoot shant ho par bhoot fariad hai mere
Tabasum sajta labon pe par khushi nahi mere

Mere girda par parwana hai par tanha ho aaj
Ya kya zindagi hai jo sekhaya degha gari




Meaning:

I may seem calm, but my soul cries out in anguish.

A smile graces my lips, yet true joy escapes me.

I am like a moth drawn to the flame, but alone today.

Is this life, which has shown me only deceit?
