Zinda ki abid

Har majnon ki khab ki donia h wo zindan
banda rha dill pa jisa chand dia nam


 Dardo ki ya donia kabhi khatma bhi hogi
Fani ki wo zindan sa raha iee bhi mela gi


 Pr divana ho douba ho os akho ki nasha pr
Baqi ki wo zinda ki kharidar bana ho




Meaning:

Every lover sees the world in their dreams as a prison,

A heart captivated, giving a beautiful name to that face.

Will this world of pain ever come to an end?

The mortal prison where one seeks release—will it ever fade away?

But the madman is drowned in the intoxication of those eyes,

And has sold the rest of his life as though it were a commodity."
